2006 MaxPreps Basketball All-American Team – Boys

I was doing a little research for an article I am writing on Gerald Henderson, and I stumbled an article by Max Preps from March 28, 2006 .
It is a list of there High School All-American teams and honorable mentions from 2006. The talent that is on the list is off the charts. The names in this article are all over the NBA and college basketball.
Just to set it up.
- Four out of the Five players on the first team are in the NBA.
- Seven out the 10 players on the first two teams are in the NBA.
- 15 out of all 42 players are in the NBA. More to be there soon.
- The first two picks in last season NBA draft were not on the first team. Derrick Rose appears on the second team and Michael Beasley is on “High Honorable Mention”. They were juniors, but still.
